5 Amazing Verses that will Give You Peace

Life will always throw you curve balls. You’re always going to have something to worry about, some form of disagreement, a disappointment, or some form of chaos in your life.  Although these mountains may seem like mole hills to others, for those going through it, it may seem like there’s no peace in sight.

I know I’ve said plenty of times, it seems as though my life is filled with storm after storm. It’s like I never find a break. Each storm is different. Some are little sprinkles while others feel like hurricanes. No matter the storm, I am always able to find peace in knowing God is there with me and will get me through and out of the storm. Even if it’s just to get me to the next one.

Today I am sharing 5 amazing Bible verses that will give you the peace you need to make it through your storm.

Psalm 139:7–10

Where shall I go from your Spirit?

Or where shall I flee from your presence?

8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there!

If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!

9 If I take the wings of the morning

and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

10 even there your hand shall lead me,

and your right hand shall hold me.  (KJV)

Philippians 4:6–7

Do not worry about anything. But pray and ask God for everything you need. And when you pray, always give thanks. 7 And God’s peace will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. The peace that God gives is so great that we cannot understand it. (ICB)

2 Corinthians 4:17–18

We have small troubles for a while now, but they are helping us gain an eternal glory. That glory is much greater than the troubles. 18 So we set our eyes not on what we see but on what we cannot see. What we see will last only a short time. But what we cannot see will last forever. (ICB)

Ephesians 3:20

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,(ASV)

Romans 8:31–32

God’s Everlasting Love

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be[a] against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? (ESV)
