My Updated Acne Routine
Last October I started using acne.org. Well $80 and horrible skin later, I decided to go back to my drugstore products. Acne.org did not do ANYTHING to clear up my acne breakout or fade dark spots. I ordered the cleanser, AHA treatment, and the moisturizer. I still use the moisturizer now, but only at night. I figured using it at night will keep my skin moisturized without clogging my pores.
Here are the other products I am using now, and my skin looks the best it has in years.
Facial Cleansers
Morning – Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser
Night (if wearing makeup) – Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser.
Night (if wearing makeup) – Garnier® Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Makeup Remover
Moisturizers
Olay Complete All Day UV Moisturizer Sensitive Skin
Night – Vitamin E Stick (can get from Wal-Mart for $1.50) Use around eyes
In the morning I wash my face with the Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser using a facial sponge. Rinse with cool water. Pat dry and apply the Olay Complete moisturizer. I then apply my makeup as usual.
At night I may use the Micellar water with a cotton swab to remove my eye makeup. I would then wash my face with the Clean & Clear cleanser, which will remove my makeup as well as cleanse my face. If I’m not wearing makeup, I would cleanse with the Biore cleanser. Rinse with cool water, pat dry, and apply the vita-E stick around my eyes. Really focusing on the under eye area. I then apply a drop of the acne.org moisturizer before going to bed.
